Ceylon Chai (Organic)

Masala Chai originally stems from Southeast Asia and describes a strong tea made from ayurvedic spices. There are varieties of family recipes that have been passed down and refined over the centuries, but this ayurvedic blend is based on a traditional Chai recipe from Colombo, Sri Lanka (formerly Ceylon). Sri Lanka is a land naturally rich in spices and is on the silk-road. Such heritage along with ayurvedic teachings of Sri Lanka, have shaped this Chai composition. Do enjoy the culinary diversity and wealth that you will find in our Chai!Masala Chai kommt ursprünglich aus Südostasien und beschreibt einen starken Gewürztee. Dabei gibt es nicht die eine Mischung, sondern eine Vielzahl an Familienrezepturen, die über die Jahrhunderte hinweg weitergegeben und verfeinert wurden. Unsere Mischung basiert auf einem traditionellen ayurvedischen Chai Rezept aus Colombo, Ceylon (dem heutigen Sri Lanka). Ceylon ist von Natur aus ein Land reich an Gewürzen und Teil der alten und neuen Seidenstraße. Diese Einflüsse und die ayurvedische Lehre, welche zu dem Kulturgut Sri Lankas gehört, prägen diese Komposition.
